Clogged Toilets

If your toilet clogs, you can get typically clear the clog using a plunger. Simply press your plunger into place and move the handle up and down to push the clog through the pipes.

Clogged Drains

If your sink or shower isn't draining properly, there may be hair in the drain or other debris preventing water from flushing properly. You may be able to fish this out using a drain cleaning tool; many hardware stores sell these.

Please don't use drain cleaning chemicals, as these could damage your pipes.

If you lose electrical power...

Call your utility provider to troubleshoot the issue. There may be problems with your billing or outages in the area may be impacting your rental.

If you still need help after speaking with the utility company, call us for further assistance.

If you don't have any hot water in your rental home, locate your water heater and verify that the settings are accurate. If the heater is powered by gas, verify that the pilot light is still lit.

If you make any changes to the temperature settings, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again.

If your heat or air conditioning isn't working properly, locate the central thermostat in your home. Verify that all settings are accurate. You may also be able to turn the system off and back on again to restore the system defaults.
