Move-in Checklist
It's important to pay your first month's rent and security deposit to secure your lease; please confirm these amounts with our team in advance.
We'll set the official move-in date and provide all information about the first inspection at the lease signing.
Utility accounts for your rental home should be placed in your name immediately following the lease signing. You are responsible for keeping these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay with us.
Move-out Checklist
Please use your lease to determine the legal move-out date for your property. You are responsible for paying rent through that date. Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate.
Before handing in the keys for your rental, please take care of the following priorities:
Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean the property, taking all of your belongings out and disposing of any trash. Go room to room, making sure to vacuum/sweep/mop the floors, and wipe down all hard surfaces.
Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you routinely take care of landscaping chores for your rental home, please address these once more before moving out.
Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please make every effort possible to make necessary repairs. This includes patching nail and screw holes, repainting discolored walls, and replacing any broken glass.
The security deposit you pay at the outset of your lease protects against any damage or unpaid fees on your account. It cannot be used to cover your last month's rent.
After your departure, we will perform a final inspection. If we identify any new damage, we will schedule repairs and deduct the related expenses from your deposit. The remainder will be returned to you.
